Following the successful conclusion of the public exhibition period and the subsequent approval by the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works, the Marondera Rural District Council (MRDC) is pleased to announce that the implementation phase of the new District Master Plan has officially begun. The Master Plan serves as our strategic blueprint for spatial planning, land use, and infrastructure development across the district for the next decade. Key priority areas for this initial rollout phase include the regularization of informal settlements, the zoning of new commercial hubs to attract investment, and the upgrading of core infrastructure at district growth points.
